The International Girls Academy (IGA) is excited to announce Kumbathon25, a dynamic technology and empowerment event scheduled for March 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Pier 57. This innovative gathering will bring together students to explore the intersection of science, technology, and personal identity through a unique hackathon and panel discussion series focused on the science of hair.The event will feature two primary components:
Hack for the Science of Hair: Students will collaborate on creative projects that explore the scientific, cultural, and technological aspects of hair, encouraging innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Panel Discussions: Expert speakers will lead engaging conversations about hair science, cultural significance, and technological innovations related to hair and identity.
