About us
Without proper support and guidance, young girls may feel powerless and directionless, leading to decisions that can impede their futures. However, when a young girl finds her spark, she has the potential to impact, change, and inspire the world.
Our guiding principles and core values
The International Girls Academy’s seven guiding principles are Unity, Self-Determination, Collective Work and Responsibility, Cooperative Economics, Purpose, Creativity, and Faith. By embedding the Nguzo Saba principles into our everyday lives, we strive to create a positive and open-minded society.
When girls are able to find the connection between their spark and education, they will end the gender gap once and for all. Will you join us in empowering more girls to become global change agents and citizens?

How do we develop strong girl leaders?
We empower girls to break down all barriers and solve problems by using their own strengths regardless of their socio-economic status. We’re committed to working with the girls through leadership in gender equality, wellness, and cultural awareness to ensure every girl has an equal opportunity for success.
