Collaboration for a published book for the next generation of student leaders

[Newark, NJ] The International Girls Academy and A Girl Like Me Inc joined forces to create a book titled "Daughters of the Community" to help inspire the next generation of student leaders despite their backgrounds.

The Daughters of the Community features students from The International Girls Academy and A Girl Like Me Inc.

They often say, "to whom much is given, much is required." To help the next generation of student leaders develop and help break generational curses, stereotypes, and more, we provide a platform for them to aspire beyond their community and support them in reaching their goals. They are not just students; they are daughters of their community." Makeba Green, Board Chair of The  International Girls Academy

Tyra Moore, A Girl Like Me Inc. Founder, adds:

"The life of teen girls dealing with goals and accomplishments is challenging. Their challenges vary from bullying, self-worth, harm, puberty, and having the confidence to reach every goal to becoming published authors while growing up in their communities."
